A gentle pencil grid drawn over a pale washed ground — dust pink and buttery yellow alternating in soft horizontal bands. The lines are graphite, drawn freehand, slightly uneven, the kind of imperfection you only notice up close. From across the room it reads as colour alone. The grid is more felt than seen. A meditative piece. I tend to hang these in rooms where people read — they get along well with bookshelves.
