An indigo wash poured onto cotton-cream paper and left to find its own edges. Madder root pigment seeps in from the side, bleeding warm into cool, the way old textiles do where the dye-bath touched the cloth too long. Nothing about this one is drawn. It's all controlled accident — the indigo deciding where to settle, the madder negotiating the borders. A quiet painting. Best in a room that gets natural light.
