Sprayed pigment, layer over layer, until the surface was nothing but mist. Rose drifts into gold; gold dissolves into lavender. No edges, no rectangles, no horizon — just a slow cloud of colour that the eye keeps trying to organise and giving up on. Square format, deliberately. A round shape would have read as a sunset. I wanted something that holds still.
